The materials in this penthouse determine the interplay of light. Panelled with dark oak in a herringbone pattern, the kitchen furniture creates wonderful light effects. The marbling of the vertically installed stone elements shimmers and gleams in the kitchen and bathroom. The exposed ceiling beams in selected reclaimed wood bring structure and warmth to the room. Riff-cut wall panelling is velvety to the touch; the doors have been fitted in a subtly flush position. Linen furniture coverings and leather-clad handrails recessed into the walls are testament to the sophisticated finish.
